No one's posted anything about this yet,so I suppose I should.

And if anyone already know about this, pardon me for posting it.

I was browsing Freddie and Queen vidoes and found this new and sweet video and collage of Freddie called In my Defense.

It's got some great and sensitively sweet shots of Freddie singing and speaking in interviews and the last fitting and famed image from Days of our lives video saying,I still Love You.

A great video, man I wish Vh1 classic would show more of these.
From this moment on, call yourself a DoRo style fan
Hopefully not to hijack...but I've been wondering, some of the interview clips: "C'est la vie," and "I'm a very loving person...how about that.." and the final one "...I'd do it slightly differently..."

...are those interviews to be found anywhere else in their entirety?

Thanks.

Zeni shared this interview (as well as some others) not long time ago.
A DoRo style fan?

Uh,is that good or bad..?
It's getting a little bit boring to watch the same footages during last 15 years... But this is what DoRo like to do.
It's not new. It was made in 1992 to promote the single release of In My Defence.

"DoRo" is the production company Queen & co were using in those days, who chose to deal with the absence of FM by generating many videos from cutting together pre-existing footage. However, they don't seem to be very good at it, and always seemed to use the same clips.

Whoops. Guessed I missed it. I really should hang out more at the "Announce" forum!

Who is the blonde chick that Freddie is frolicking with and kissing? I know Mary Austin, but that other blonde chick was not her. Anybody know?
Very sweet video.
That time will come, one day you'll see, when we can all be friends...
I think you mean Debbie Leng in the Breakthrough video. She was the lady of Roger Taylor and they are still good friends.
You made us laugh, you made us cry, you made us feel like we could fly!
Or, more likely, Debbie Ash from IWBTLY..
It was Debbie Ash. Thanks uh.. thanks. Who is she tho?

I was just watching that video last week for the first time in a while. It is a great video, and an incredible song. It's amazing that one performer can have such a great montage of shots and the shots be from live, on the spot, performances. Sure he posed, but the live-ness of it just shows how theatrical a frontman Freddie was.

A random actress booked to be in the video
If I can believe everything I read on the Internet, Debbie Ash was a member of the Hot Gossip dance troup, most notable for their appearance on the Kenny Everett Video Show.

Makes sense to me.

...and if I can believe *more* of what I read on the Internet, if this is the same Debbie Ash, she played Marilyn Monroe in the "Better Than Life" episode in Season Two of "Red Dwarf."

That also makes sense.

I need to get a life.
