Washington, DC Tailgate Party/Meetup

HELLO DC!

You've seen London, you've seen France, now come to the DC Hard Rock Cafe and see Freddie Mercury's pants!

Please join us at the Hard Rock Cafe for the Washington, DC Tailgate Party/Meetup for some fun and to get sufficiently oiled up before the DC gig. I warned the manager that we're coming and they're expecting us. We'll be in the bar at the Hard Rock before the gig, starting at 4:00 pm (unless you want to start earlier--let me know!)

RE: Freddie's pants (the red leather/leatherish ones,) are part of the DC Hard Rock's collection, and are in a large display case in the dining room, which is up the main stairs and to the left. Bring the Instamatic or the Polaroid and snap a pic of yourself having a brush with greatness!

Please post here if you're coming, AND . . . if you want, what you'll be wearing.

Sure I will be there!! I was having problems at my work by having that day off, but finally I got it, So I'm looking forward to see you all there at the HRC. Cindy, I might bring the baby to the HRC....

Me? It depends on which disguise I'm wearing so, I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you! ;) When you get there, just ask the host/hostess or the bartender where the people for the Queen meetup are. They'll point you in our direction. My name's Cindy.

My wife and I will be there. New to the site but been a Queen fan for over 30 years! Drove my family crazy with Night at the Opera, suffered the barbs of my Quiet Riot friends and Survived Hot Spaces! :) Thanks to Crazy Little Thing for cluing me in on this!

I would like to be there, but I don't know if I will make the party in time. I probablly wont get there before 7-7:30. I'm driving in from Philly & won't be leaving work til 3 or so. I know yours!! ;) And my name is Lisa. ...So yes we will definitely be there! 4 is too early tho for us, is 5:30-ish too late?? BTW- Is the metro right down the street from HRC, and do you know if metro will still be open after the show?? It'd be great if we didnt have to drive all the way.... I think I might wear my 80s suede fringe jacket! Cool? Does that sound 'Appropo'?? HaHa :) And a pirate eye patch too (long story)! ps- john is freakin out of his mind for this!
