"...and so fell the weight I never can lift behind us the darkness between us the rift" -Phish ----------- The Dude Abides

EDIT: 11am GMT - this is superb, thank you !
BUMP!!!
"...and so fell the weight I never can lift behind us the darkness between us the rift" -Phish ----------- The Dude Abides
what exactly is this?
I'm just getting used to my new exposure Come into my enclosure And meet my melancholy blues
When someone gets all the flac files can they make a torrent?

Thanks...
-=Please remember to stick around and seed... so others can share in the fun too..-=
This is great, Thanks!

But why is it called "Last European" when they played Munich the night after (the 3rd) before coming home to England??

Another case of bootleggers "cock-up" me thinks - just like the "final live in Japan" video...
Thanks - Is the flac files from mp3 source and not wav source ????
Sorry to say that they are mp3 sourced.
Thanks!
Your FLAC files are 100 % MP3 sourced !!!!!!
Whats the date of this concert?

Take care
This is Vienna, May 2nd 1978. They got the complete and unaltered second generation tape, and managed to destroy the sound quality, as well as cutting out Keep Yourself Alive. Gypsy Eye has purposely ruined the majority of their releases in one way or another.

This one is to be avoided.

How do you know they got their hands on the 2nd gen version of the Vienna show? There are many higher generated versions of this show out there as well. Well, I've got the 2nd gen>CDR version and if they really managed to make it sound like that, then 'Last European News' has likely got to be the worst ever Queen bootleg release.

And you're right - I've got the impression that the Gypsy Eye label tends to release either something exceptionally good or they manage to totally ruin their release. For example their releases of Glasgow'77, Berlin'86 and Mannheim'86 are the best available for these dates, but their Montreal'78, Vienna'78 or Chicago'80 releases are really poor.
Thanks, my darling:))
God, Amazing powerful musicians""

I know the guy from whom all 7 first gen Vienna recordings originated. He recently posted here about it, actually. I mean, of course it's possible that they didn't actually get their hands on the 5-2-78 second gen, but it was shortly after he shared all of the Vienna recordings that a few of them ended up on silvers. They absolutely destroyed the 78 recording, but the 5-12-82 and 7-21-86 shows seem to be alright. 9-29-84 had a few clicks here and there. 5-13-82 and 9-30-84 didn't end up being released. The two 86 shows were released on a 3cd boot called "Two Magic Nights" (Breakdown), but I don't know how that one turned out.

GE's Glasgow 77 is the best quality we've heard so far, but they chose to cut KYA, Jailhouse, and GSTQ. And GE's Mannheim isn't the best available. I've got a slightly better version. It sounds about as good as Wembley.

Another great GE release is First Procession, because it has the best version of Birmingham 73. The Golders Green material on the cd is crap, though.
