Don't know if any of you heard, but Jimmy 'Jinky' Johnstone, the greatest footballer in the history of the world, died today, aged 61. If any of you wish to leave a tribute to him, then this is the thread on which to do so.

He was to Celtic fans in 60's and 70's what Ronaldinho is to Barcalona these days. He was that good. He'll be sadly missed.

Not trying to have a go or anything, but I think he was considerably more than that.

Lol he was shite!!!Na just messin.ok Ill rephrase it:He is one of the best wingers celtic have ever had
No, I was kidding, Scheidt was shite. And I don't think he was a winger, either.

He was a defender. He was part of a back four that included Peter Weir, Olver Tebily and him Rafael Scheidt. Hence the joke "were (Weir) terribly (Tebily) shite (Scheidt)". Absolutely true.

No, they never signed Weir, but they were thinking of it. Come to think of it, that's what put them off.

Anyway, all the Celtic team are going to wear the number 7 on their shorts in the CIS Cup Final on Sunday.
This can't end well.
