I dont know how to upload it lol.
I'm actually shocked people are saying brians at all, for me his version is pretty horrid. The chorus his voice is so horrible I have to shut it off. On the other hand the MIH version is vocally brilliant. also I love the drum sound from roger.
bri wrote it, so his version is exaclty how it had to be sung...but freddie changed in some way the mood. Bri is saying all I got from life is sorrow, and that because of love, Freddie instead seems to say, Life is choice, and there's no way to get out of it. Sorrow is the price to pay, but in the end who knows if there's a meaning in it?

I think Freddie's version is more subtle but because the song's words matches so closely his real life situation, it is far more emotional than Brian's version.

The case CAN be made that Brian SANG with more emotion, and yes, I know the song is about Brian's real life problems but come on, which has greater impact? A man dying of AIDS or a man singing over a divorce?

Of course Freddie's version is more beautifully sung because Freddie is the greatest singer in the history of singing. LOL.

However, I love all four of Queen members equally. Is love the correct word? I think so. I genuinely respect, revere, and just plain like these guys. From John Deacon, to Roger Taylor, to Brian May, and to Freddie Mercury.

Equally.
Freddie's version, i think his vocals are just too good.

No offence to Brians, his are fine, but just not as amazing as Mr.Mercury's.

I tend to prize vocals more than anything else though, as far as the rest of the music is concerned, i'm undecided, i like bits of both.
Crazy Little Thing Called Love....
is that song only a question of how much disgraced you are to perform it better?

Freddie's
Keeping in mind that Brian is a guitarist first....a vocalist about 20th.... can we even compare??

Freddie is usually voted by readers of any magazine with taste and class the greatest frontman in rock.

Brian was a guitarist/songwriter in the same band.

Is it possible that a vocal by the guitarist/back-up singer could possibly overshadow the work of the greatest frontman ever??

I doubt it.

Seriously friends, I love Brian May...and I am a guitarist myself...

But folks, I have friends that can sing equally good as Brian...and they don't feel they are good enough to be in any band.

And they are right.

Brian May as a vocalist only would have never seen fame....guaranteed.
