I got a response from Jen at brianmay.com. here it is:

"Hi David

Thanks for writing.

I don't think Bit Torrent works with Macs. I've never had any luck - and Brian probably would fathom it either.

How big is the file? Would it e-mail?

Regards
Jen

Now obviously at almost 1G the file can't really be emailed. Anyone else have any suggestions? I do not have a dvd burner, so I can't just burn it and send it to her.

Ugh... he wants someone else to do his tech support.

Bittorrent works *fine* with Macs. I use Tomato Torrent myself, but it's trivially easy to operate and as long as he's got a gig free, he'll be laughing.

Seeders too - he'll need those. But who here *wouldn't* seed for Brian May???
I haven't downloaded this yet (I'm on my Mac and I'm not sure how to view stuff like this unless I'm on my PC) but it means a lot that you've bothered to put up 3 songs anyway, right on.

If I were picking songs, I also would've gone with Dragon Attack (because it's actually really good, PR really attacked the version I heard) and perhaps Love of My Life (just because I like the new renditions of it).

Superb job.
About viewing the files on your mac, download VLC player, it will treat it as a DVD disc while it is on your computer. :o).

And yeah, bit torrent works great on macs. Bits On Wheels is my favourite app.

Oh and thank you for sharing those three songs, was fab!
I think Brian will completely flip. Remember all the posts in his soapbox last year about people being more busy with their camera/phone than enjoying the show ?

I'm burning the video to DVD tonight (CET).

If you ask Jen for a postal address ASAP and forward it to me, I can send a copy as soon as the post office opens.

I'm in Italy, the DVD should reach London or any major British city in 2 or 3 working days (I know because I often send stuff to a friend who lives there)

Do not use the e-mail in my profile, it's just a spam trap; if the e-mail in YOUR profile is in use, I'm e-mailing you from my proper account now.

Thank you very much.

Check your email. I replied with the address.

Am I the only one who can't used 90% of the DVD's found here and in the Hub?
First of, half of them can't be burned due to some conflict Nero can't really tell me what is.
Most of the ones it can burn can't play on my DVD player (which is region free so that's not the problem) I just get a menu pic, but the darn thing chrashes when I push Play(EG Q+PR in Stockholm). If I put them on my computer they sometimes play but with no sound (such as the Q+PR in Japan).

Others like Saturday Night Live works without a problem.
Anyone know what the problem is?

Note that who answered was not Brian, but his webmistress, Jen.

DVD sent this morning by priority mail - not sure it will be delivered by Saturday, more likely on Monday.

Glad to have helped,

Downloaded. This is awesome, thanks.

I hope that a satisfactory and mutually beneficial way to share the whole thing is found eventually, I'd love to see Love of My Life in this kind of quality.

Till then - thanks for these 3 songs, this is amazing.
to gnomo:

Excellent job! I really hope Brian does get to see this, but I saw in the footage that the show was also filmed by their own crew? (watch the camera at the front)... I am just wondering if they used more camera's at that show...

How do you think they get the images on the big-screens? Old footage? I don't think so.
