I'd definatly say I like it. The first time I say the video it was kind of like watching the Rocky Horror Picture Show for the first time- intriguingand weird at the same time. And John is pretty cool in the video.

Not a big fan of it - or Hot Space, for that matter - but it can be enjoyable if you're in the mood for it. A great "Turn-off-the-lights-and-have-sex" song.
That video is hilarious and its soooo dark, and they way they snap their fingers is hilarious too...I dont get the side profile thing at the end...that was too funny to me, lol!! Are they like in a locker room/subway or something...? And its funny how Freddie singing: Oh, you got a cute ass...that just too funny!!! The song is pretty good too, just not what I'm used to hearing from Queen. I can tell by the look on Bri, and Rog's face, that they really dont want to be there, lol...
QUESTION: DO YOU GUYS THINK THEY CAME OUT WITH THAT ALBUM, HOT SPACES, BECAUSE OR ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST BEING A HIT, OR BECAUSE OF THE PRESSURE OF MUSIC CHANGING ALSO?

Maybe it was a little of both. I think AOBTD maybe wrongfully gave them the sense that they could make a successful "funky" album. Unfortunatly the result was a controversial one. Still good music IMO.

Controversial in the sense that some Queen fans love it, some hate it.
It's always been stated that they made Hot Space disco-oriented because of the success of AOBTD. Additionally, Deacon and Mercury wanted to shift the band in a more funk oriented direction, while May and Taylor wanted to move in a harder rock direction (Roger himself said as much in an interview).
It definitely wasn't the pressure of the times. Keep in mind, disco had mostly died out by 82...I think that John and Freddie had decided that they could make a good disco album, and did it despite what anyone else might have recommended.

Yeah, I always wondered WHY they made an album like that...since disco had faded out by 82...R&B still exisited, but in a more pop form(FYI-MICHEAL JACKSON, PRINCE, JANET JACKSON etc) ya know what I mean...I agree with May and Taylor, they should have stayed ROCK, I REALLY liked AOBTD from The Game...but then again, I've only listened to Hot Spaces on Amazon.com...so I really havent "listened" to the album...but I'm not too crazy about Body Language, and I'm black and into classic R&B music, lol...but I do give them (Mercury and Deacon) credit for trying something new!
But seriously-everything went POP in the 80's lol!!

My personal opinion is that BODY LANGUAGE is, tied up with DELILAH the worst Queen song of all time.
No, Alex.
If it's crap then why does it make me feel so good?
:D

It's not their greatest song in terms of lyrical value or content, but it's a fun song; the bass line is smashing.
Cheers[/QUOTE]
Still, I think its more likeley to get me slapped
