does anybody know if there exist a last interview from the press conference or any interview when freddie announced that he is ill with aids, and if yes, where to find a audio/video clip from it?

it probably exists, i dont know where though...
Freddie didn't announce his illness himself, as he was bedridden at that point (ie the day before he died).
As far as I'm aware (and please correct me if I'm wrong) the last time freddie was caught on video was in May 91 for the 'These are the days...' video.

Oh my god, these "Last interview"-questions should be banned from the forum (countless threads during the last months).
There was NO interview, where Freddie said that he had AIDS. Freddie had released a press statement the day before he died (over his Management), in which he declared that he had been diagnosed HIV positive and that he had AIDS.
Freddie never said in an interview, that he was ill. He saw it as a private thing.
And speaking of the famous last interview, it probably took place in 1990, I doubt it that Freddie would still have spoken to any reporter in 1991 (of course, filmed appearences such as TATDOOL not counting).

There you go. So are we going to see this question asked again and again and again?

What did he say in Innuendo EPK?
"Hi, my name is Kim Basinger... (something (no?))... I'm Freddie Mercury..."

Ah, that interview!
I believe that's from the "Queen For An Hour" interview (you know, that hour-long talk with the four of them)
Didn't that take place in '90 or '91? You know, during the Innuendo sessions or something? If so, that would most likely be counted as the "last" Freddie interview.

He was wearing a blue shirt, a tie, black trousers in that one, i think.
Well, there's the fictitious one that Fatty posted on the board a while back.

No, it took place in spring of 1989, shortly before or after the release of "The Miracle". I have it on CD and they talk mainly about "The Miracle"-songs, about producing the album and why they don`t go on tour. And the interviewer clearly says that it is three years since the last Queen gig at Knebworth Park. Freddie didn´t really look that ill at this point.
It is also confirmed in several Queen books.
