Not sure why he dropped it in 86, if you notice he played the cowbell part on the hi tom instead, this time around he has the cowbell back back have you spotted that he has moved it half way through the American tour to just beside his hihat on a stand coming off the first cymbal. I always felt it was a little difficult to reach the cowbell in the bass drum location during CLTCL, where he has it now is much easier.

Because Roger's cow died before the Magic tour. He was so sad about it, that's why he didn't use any. He was afraid of crying in public.

for the 'tikitikitik' in 'dum dum dum - tikitikitik - dum dum dum - tikitikitik" etc after "...gives me hot and cold fever, and leaves me in a cold cold sweat"
and you can't ask for more detail than that!

Sorry but drummers are usually stupid!

I think we should close this board.

It's a bit simple.

Hold on, i'll ask roger myself - now don't believe me drummers!!

Children eh...
He used a cowbell (from the octapad) in Under Pressure on most gigs in 1986.

If your trying to be funny, then just stop.

Roger probably stopped using it because Yamaha has a different mounting system then Ludwigs do. And when mounting systems are different, cowbell placements have to move. I know because my old Pearl had no problem with placing the cowbell but when I got my DW, the mounting system made the toms closer so I couldnt put the cowbell on the bass.

Thats a possiblity.
Well here's my counter-offer... do I have to kill you? What if I were just to kick the ever loving shit out of you?
