Serious- meaning with people who DO CARE about the gigs being non-mp3!!!
I have enough- every second fucking trade I get mp3 sourced material. The whole market is floded with this crap...! And more and more people who downloaded few mp3 gigs from QZ think that they are traders and pollute the market even more...! Fucking hell!!!
Request: serious bootleg collectors! Where are you guys? How to recognise you? No wander some circles want to remain closed...

But yes Tom, I completly agree with you. It's very irritating to receive mp3 sourced material over and over again. Most people will send replacements but it`s not nice for both.
Sometimes it`s a wild guess, do I recieve good recordings ??

Yeah, totally agree. I recently got some bootlegs that was mp3 sourched. The problem is that the trader claimed and ensure me that this was lossless. Glad i haven`t sent his recordings yet. I don`t feel i have broken a promize/trading rule when i received lossy material and don`t send anything back.
And, if you want to trade with serious collectors, you can`t always expect them to contact you.

Best option IMO is just simply ask very short wav files of 2/3 seconds from the trader before doing a trade, then just use Frequency Analysis to look if it is compressed or not.
