Before school, daughter dropped a glass of orange juice - with pulp, naturally - and so I had sticky stuff all over the kitchen. She'd just reached into the fridge and knocked it over. Yes, I had a small glass of juice in there. There was only a little bit left so I poured it into the glass and tossed the big container. Does that make it my fault?
Anyway, I have commercial carpet in the kitchen, so I took out the wet-vac and washed the entire thing. Then I scrubbed down the fridge and contents because pulp stuck everywhere. Then I opened the freezer (I have a side-by-side) because the door was gooey and what do I see? A chunk of ice at the bottom of my frost-free unit. :-(
The repairman is coming later today.
I toss daughter's orange-juice-soaked clothes into the washing machine, take her to school, come back to switch the clothes to the dryer and YIKES it's filled with dirty water. Huh? I reset the machine. It chugs. It clicks. It stops. I try different settings. <sniff> Spin cycle doesn't work in any of them. Unit is full with no way to empty it.
The repairman is coming later today.
<dabs at tears>
Why couldn't it have been the oven instead? :-(

You need a hug?
It must be a case of the mondays.
I'd strongly recommend you to yell out loud: FUCK!
(not in front of the kids of course)

Seems I just paid a guy to obliterate that excuse. I must be nuts.
(truthfully, I'm glad it's fixed)

Mondays are terrible...
I feel sick for complaining about my morning. This afternoon we had to rush my friend to the hospital. She had a ruptured aneurysm (sp?) and is not doing well. She's under 24 hour observation. We'll all be at the hospital first thing tomorrow morning when she'll have an "angiogram" - sorry, it's late and I can't look up proper spelling right now. With luck, they'll be able to treat it from there. If not, she'll need major surgery. Then it'll be touch and go for the next few weeks.
I know none of you really know me but please, would you send her your good wishes?
