Here's the quote from Brian's interview from 1991 : "There's a track on here (I won't tell you which one) which I dearly would have liked for my solo album, which I'm still working on, I thought "I enjoy singing it, I enjoy playing it and it sounds good to me", and then I played it to the group to see what they thought and they liked it. I decided if it gets the treatment that the group can give it, it's going to gain an extra dimension, and it would be stupid to keep it just for myself."
Does anybody know which track is it? Is it Headlong?

Yes. And "I Can't Live With You".
Yes. This is the favorite Serry's song from Innuendo :-)
What I don't understand is why ICLWY was never a single, or at least a B-Side, maybe of Headlong, because it is brilliant, and in my head the two have become fused.
I think it's the Hitman, not I can't live with you
I read that this song was very difficult to mix and took a long time to finish. Perhaps this is another reason Brian wanted to continue working on it.
The Hitman is Freddie's
I thought Freddie wrote Innuendo?

I have a demo with Brian on vocals

Because he gave to the hitman another "direction" and sang it to guide freddie in the way he could sing it...

Yes. There are more songs on that album. He was allowed to write more than one, you know!

Roger wrote innuendo (the song)
"Innuendo" wasn`t written by Roger - although he contributed probably some ideas to it.
I believe this Brian solo song was I Can't Live With You.
Roger DID write Innuendo...it's been documented, and yes Brian did write The Hitman, I Can't Live With You, and Headlong...of course with some ideas from the other guys as well. All this has been documented many many times!!
