Pieter, do you know when that photo was taken with the American Idol contestants?
I guess whatever day the Anaheim concert was. My thinking is that they met with the contestants that day to go over the songs that they will be singing on the show.
If the the band are actually going to perform on the show I would imagine it would be on the results show on the 12th. They don't have a concert that day so they could do it.

Quite often when they feature one particular artists songs they will turn up and perform. Stevie Wonder and Barry Manilow have both performed on the show this year.

Well, when we were backstage in San Diego Saturday night, the tour manager told us the band were leaving by limo immediately after the show to go to the airport, because they had to be in LA the next morning (Sunday) for some "TV thing."
I'd guess that's your answer...

This sounds like good news! Lately, the results shows have only been 1/2 hour, even WITH guest perfomances, so I'd guess that an hour-long show this week spells out a pretty good likelihood that the boys will indeed appear and, hopefully, perform!
