Sweet Lady

I know I will get a lot of crap for simply asking a song meaning question, but I will anyway.
I like the sound of Sweet Lady, but the lyrics make no sense to me. Do any of you have an idea of what this song is about? Besides the obvious answer of "it's about a sweet lady".

I think this is probably the only song for which Brian wrote lyrics for the only sake of filling the melody.

...and I wish he wouldn't have bothered. Instrumentally, it's cool. With lyrics, it sounds very messy.

Who cares what the lyrics are really about. Read what you like into it.

I'm also interested in the cheese part myself. It's a shame they didn't dedicate a part about various types of cheeses... if they did then we'd take in the lingering smell of a number one hit... and the lingering smell of....cheese :S
