Incredible how different perceptions can be from different vantage points. When I walked into the arena and to my seat I was a little disappointed as to how high up they were. I was in row 3 of section 202. The eyes then seemed to adjust and it was OK.
One of the best things about being up there was seeing almost everything that was going on. In our section (and along most of our side, the receptions were rousing and I was stunned at the amount of passion toward the music there was from the crowd. Our side gave "Show" a really loud cheer and it got a massive ovation for the way Paul's delivery was so passionate. I'd be disappointed if they ever dropped that one and the crowd seemd to love it. I saw people with their eyes bulging out when the guitar pitch soared up to the skies and did battle with his vocals. An amazing moment to witness.

Absolutely stunning display of master musicianship from the whole band. There were so many “up” people in the audience that the whole Queen experience was a joy to behold. We were going crazy in the nosebleeds and everywhere I looked around us, people were dancing, laughing, and singing. We had people of all ages around us singing words along with the band and going nuts at every song.
I was proud to be part of this concert and, from where we were sat, the drums sounded incredible. Roger pounded his heart out with some intense rhythmic change ups. These kids sitting next to us were in awe at his power and passion. Brian’s solo was better at this show than I can ever remember. Again, people were going crazy when he started building up to the wall of distorted sound and were simply stunned at the genius they were witnessing. It was a great, great feeling for us to be there. I attended with my fiancé and her sister.
We were able to view the majority of the audience and saw TONS of handclapping, swaying, jumping, and singing to LOML. Only spotted a few empty seats from where I was at and they were in the uppers. Looked like a great turn out from where I was at.
We went to the Hollywood Bowl in October and really enjoyed that. This show, however, blew that one away in all ways I could think of. I had thought that Dragon Attack should have been added given Paul’s voice. It was fantastic to hear the arrangements on that song. Also, Under Pressure was a kick ass version. I’m astounded they would even attempt this and could not see how they could have pulled it off successfully – but they did. Everyone was singing along with these songs…a truly magical evening for us all. We’ll never forget it. My fiancé is adamant on going to Vegas tomorrow now and me (the big Queen fan) is having to talk her out of it!

ElleInuenndo-You didn't happen to be at the worcester show with the freddie flag were you? I saw someone sitting right at the front of the stage with a freddie flag- I'm just curious.
Nope, that wasn't me, unless I was there "in spirit" or had an out of body experience. ;) I'll bring it to Vegas, though! :)

I absolutely love Q+PR's version of TSMGO and last night's version was the best one I've heard yet.
Paul tore it up. He loves that song. You can tell.
I'm a big fan of Paul's and a musician/vocalist myself and he never ceases to blow my mind with his natural abilities. He's fucking incredible!
Can't wait to get a copy of San Jose's version.

All three california shows were AMAZING!! God I have been in Heaven for the last week....I should have stayed after to meet Brian but I tried it in Anaheim and it didnt work. But I did catch his towel. That was pretty awesome. I'll post some pics soon.
Well, I didn't get the chance to go see the San Jose show, so I'm totally in the wrong post, but I did want to say hi to ElleInnuendo...I had the chance to meet her and a bunch of the coolest fucking people (which also happen to be Queen fans...and let's not forget Richard from THIS very site, who is kind of aforementioned in the 'coolest fucking people'), but I saw the San Diego show, and holy dammit it was by far the best fucking concert I've ever seen in my 25 almost 26 years of life. I'd been waiting for that moment since I was 9!! I lost my voice come Saturday night after three songs, and I STILL haven't recovered it. So to all of you that i met at the Effin's in SD, and to all of you who are seeing the upcoming shows (who are of course fortunate enough)...enjoy them...these guys really fucking ARE the champions...no questions asked...yes...EVEN Paul Rodgers! (Tho he isn't Freddie, but he holds his own sho' nuff!!)

First of all, sorry for my English. I came from Hungary, where the Queen played in 1986.It was a big thing back then, because my country was a communist country, but the Queen got the permission and they dared to go there.They where the first rock band in our country from the West.But I was just 9, but I remember, they were in every news.
Unfortunately I started to like them when Freddie died, because everyone played their music everywhere.So it was a miracle for me too, when they started a tour last year.They went to Hungary in April, but I went to the Hollywood Bowl to see them in October.I have no words what I felt.
In December I fond out than they will come back, so I bought tickets for all of the Californian shows.Me and my sister rented a car and from Encino we went first to San Diego, then to Anaheim.We were far from the stage, but the experience was great.
On Tuesday midnight we went to San Francisco(I never had a chance to visit that city before)we reached it at 7am, then looked around quickly and at noon we went to San Jose.
We had floor seats 13 row, 13-14 seats (my favorite number was always 13), but we went to stand on the side of the catwalk, but 15 minutes before the show they sent everyone away, but within minutes everyone was back, so we went back too, and had a better place than before. And the show started and WE WERE AT THE FRONT ROW!!!!!!
When Paul Rodgers came at the front the first time he reached out for my hand! Than a little bit later he came again and during the song he stoped and posed and looked into my camera, but unfortunately my camera didn`t get that moment.What a shame! Than he came closer and said to me that he likes my eyes, and throwed a kiss to me and he reached out again for my hand.It was a perfect moment.Anytime when someone said this kind of things to me before I felt so bad I didn`t even dared to look up, but from him it felt so good ,not like I feel something for him, but, like it is part of my perfect day.
I came there to see the Queen, and I got a lot from Paul. I never though anything of him, I just accepted him as a singer. I didn`t even know him before he came to sing with the Queen, but I could see in his eyes and in his every movement that he enjoyed every moment of the concert.And I enjoyed every moment to watch my favorite band from this close.We could jump, we could scream, we could sing, not like when you are far away from the stage, and the others ask you to sit down, because they can`t see. How can anyone sit still on a rock concert?
And to make my perfect day more perfect, the guy, who gave the guitars to Brian during the show came to me before the God Save the Queen, and gave me Brian`s tick(?)I don`t know the word, the little thing what he use in his right hand when he twang on his guitar.It is grey and it has his name on it.I didn`t ask for it, he came to me and gave it to me! I felt sooooooo happy!!!
And my luck is not over yet!
We left the city to go back to Encino, and we were on the road more than two hours. My sister went to sleep already and I was so tired, that I almost fell asleep too, when a police car stopped me, because I went with 85 miles instead of 80. They stopped me, but after they checked the driver licence they told me that they wont give ticket, if I promise to be carefull during the way home. We left, but I think he was my guardian angel that day. Maybe we won`t be alive now if they didn`t stopped us then.( I know that I made several mistakes in this sentence, but I never learned this language, so sorry for that). Then we stopped and went to sleep for a couple of hours, then returned home easily.I went to bed straight and slept 18 hours!!!
In that 6 days I drove 1437 miles, but let me tell you, it wasn`t enough!!!!!!
