yeh peace on QZ for a good week or so as i go to africa, not for holiday tho :(
its actually business trip, researching into poverty and aids in different parts of africa, all preperation for a big event thats gonna happen in july in our area.
iv been warned in advance by the person im meeting there that it wont be a pretty sight at all.
anywhoo im off for some rest cos my flights 4am or something stupid like that. enjoy your easter hols everyone!

yeh i organise shows for charity at my school and iv been asked to organise a summer fair style one, like a much bigger concert held outdoors so through the local youth association i was able to get sent to africa for a week to get abit of research to help with this event.
its more or less a side hobby actually its not hard to get into. infact if anyone else can organise shows i would be grateful if they can organise one the same date as ours. the more the better

Ive been to the Gambia. That was interesting. 5 star on the sea front with the hotels ect.. and third world elsewhere. I stayed where Wet Wet Wet recorded the video for Sweet Little Mystery.

stayed in tunisia, the guide kept me in the resort of Port El Kantoui for 2 days, then we headed out south towards the sahara desert, switched to land crusiers which took us to some rocky mountians and thats when he showed me where about 1000+ people lived in extreme poverty, not anymore though cos they moved on etc. so no pics, probably wouldnt want to take any.
i was also told even though live 8 was a huge success, the money is still struggling abit, cos of corrupt governments in Africa, e.g.
the resorts are all 5star hotels, and everyone who works there gets paid around 100 dinar a month, thats like 50quid!
all the rest of the money is going into the governemnts back pockets!
