Athiesm requires just as much beleif as christianity or other religions, there is no evidence for God so you need faith to beleive, but there is no evidence that there is no God so you need to have faith to beleive there is no God as well.
I don't know if Brian practices any sort of religion, but he seems quite spiritual. On a side note, over the last few years he has started saying 'God Bless Ya' alot on his website and in concerts. Roger Taylor is almost certainly not religious, John as some others have said is catholic and Freddie background is zoroastrian but I seriously doubt he practiced any religion.
