I'm not a US citizen, but I say stay... :S
The thing is they're not 'immigrants'; they are illegal aliens.
Sorry to be hard-nosed, but I feel if they came here illegally, they shouldn't be here now. They're not paying taxes. I am. They're kids are going to the public schools, but since they're not paying their taxes, mine are going higher and the schools are still without enough supplies. They're not paying for health insurance, which means I'm not only paying for mine, I'm paying for theirs as well.
I read an article just the other day and they spoke about this guy who came here illegally two years ago. Well, since then, he has married a natural born American citizen and they have a child. The story goes on in a way that suggests he should be allowed to stay since he's been working hard for two years and has an American wife and child. To me, that's the same as saying a guy who breaks out of jail and then lives as a proper citizen should be absolved from his crimes. I don't know about anyone else, but I have a problem with that.
Oh, and for the record, I'm a third generation American. My grandparents came here after a stopover at Ellis Island... with proper papers in hand.

As I mentioned once before WE ALL should leave this country and give it back to the native Americans.
Talk about being dishonest...
This land has been taken away in the most dishonest way since day one.

We should give immediate amnesty to them like President Reagan. I saw a movie called something like "If all the Illegals were gone" and it was pretty funny because we would hit the shitcan in a few weeks. The ones we should kick out are the ones who open crack houses and smuggle drugs.
So I say, let them become Americans, the benefits well outweigh the fact that they'll take away shit jobs
-more people paying taxes
-more people for draft
-people to do the crap jobs (pump gas, room service, ect)
Hell, we should give them an award

I think WE should all move to THEIR countries and see what happens.
In my experience - just over 5 years ago ...
Teenagers actually worked at fast food restaurants.
Radios on the 2nd and 3rd manufacturing shifts blared Rock n Roll.
Nightly janitorial workers spoke english.
Why the change? Corporate America liked the cheap labor and was willing to look the other way.
But the illegals have nothing to worry about as they will be granted amnesty. --- The laws will remain basically the same, and of course will not be enforced against corporate America.
Why ???
Republicans love cheap labor (legal or not), and Democrats love having a larger voting base.

I propose amnesty for all hispancis living in the U.S. illegally.
...except for those who listen reggeaton.
Illegal or not, listening reggeaton should be considered a felony.
They can throw them to the sharks for all I fuckin' care.

I'm mexican, and since my point of view, it's a shame that the president of our country, support the immigration protests, he should be creatin works, and with that all our people won't have the need to go to the states, i mean, there's a lot of people workin in US in a legal way, and i'm sure that they're not supportin all this stuff, but well, i've mixed emotions, you can't demand if you are outside the law, things should be on the law, it's a complex topic, specially for us, well for me
I think you should all leave America for Greenland.
Yes, or you could leave America and come live in my basement, along with John Deacon and a few evil minded pocket monsters!
i think that they are pretty beneficial to the american economy and they should be allowed to stay, but they also need to start paying taxes, learning english etc
Honestly, I think everyone should be free to go from country to country as they see fit.
its sad- but yes they should.
i hate to say it more than anything because they are people- and deserve an oppurtunity but if you watch the news and the different arguements then youll understand.
actually i am really starting to think that i should get my dad on this website he could make a damn good point
