Yes, Mike. Not all of us we're musically retarded at the age of 14.

You mean "cat" (not "kid"), right?
I think Delilah is a bit older than 14. Some cats can live to be in their 20's, although I haven't read anything about Delilah, so I don't know. At any rate, I'm sure she appreciated the song. What cat wouldn't?

No, I'm pretty sure he meant "kid".
it is the weakest song on the album, but its just light relief towards the end of the second side a bit like My Baby Does Me on The Miracle

Freddie wrote songs about goats? I know he loved the mountains. Regardless, any goat that Freddie had would surely be in goat heaven by now. I'm not sure how long they live but I'm guessing a lesser life span than a cat.

Yes! If you stare at it long enough - it goes into 3D. Magical!

No no no no, Man on the prowl is the worst.
Obviously, you can't play the piano.
I'm sorry, what? Were we discussing my piano-skills? (fyi, I CAN play the piano!)
In my OPINION "Man on th prowl" is their worst song, I always feel sick when I listen to it...
I like Delilah, it's not the worst on 'Innuendo'. I think "Ride the wild wind" is the weakest track on that album.

Ofcourse it's a good song, how could a song by a dying guy about how much he loves his cat brighten his day be a bad song. The last part when he sings "I love your kisses" can probably be best described as haunting.
Yeah... thinking about this kinda makes me sad... but in a good way.
In some ways it's not fred at his best, but like the last poster was saying "the emotion" he sings "Delilah, I love you" is emotional and yes hauting. Makes this a worth while listen.
