Anyone else feel this way?

I'm a strange person so I wonder if others also feel this way.

There's this coffee shop I go to every day, and have been going for months and months and months. It's like a ritual.

And for all this time, I am totally oblivious to the people there. I just like to get my coffee, and go. I notice the people there, but I don't really notice them.

But today, as I was ordering, I looked at the girl there who I was ordering from, and of course I recognized her because I ordered from her 100's of times. But for the first time, I saw her. And I had this strong impression that she liked me. She was really nervous, and looking at me weirdly. Now, she's a pretty cute girl but I'm not attracted to her one bit.

Here's my question: Now, I will feel very awkward if next time I go there and order my coffee from there. I'll probably blush and get all nervous and barely be able to speak right even though I don't even like her. Just knowing she has a crush on me makes me feel uncomfortable.

I'll even go out of my way to another coffee shop that I might not like as much to avoid this stress.

Is that weird?

I regret this happening. I liked that coffee shop, and now, I can't go back.

If it was some place that I went to only once, and never returned, I wouldn't mind. But this is THE coffee shop that I go to everyday, and I LIKE going there. It's a part of my day. It's how I start the day, and now, things won't be the same if she's there because I'll get nervous and feel weird.

Oooh..I never go to fast food places anymore. I am too cynical that I don't believe the employees are decent and professional enough to not tamper with the food. It would be too easy to tamper with the food. Way too easy. And I don't trust these employees. Plus, the food is awful and unhealthy anyway.

They could really use a lesson from Old China Buffet. They just hand you your plates and let you have at it.

I went to Las Vegas once for fun, and boy, there are awesome buffets there! I stuffed myself and got my moneys worth! of course, I also lost tons of money in the casino. LOL.

I worked the kitchen of a Burger King ages ago. Trust me, it's really not easy to tamper with anyone's order. Well... not THAT easy, anyway. :-\

Ben, btw, I tried to make a pizza last night and totally fucked it up. It tasted good, but it was a bit of a disaster. Got any tips for me?

You have to make it clear that you don't want to get involved but at the same time you don't want to hurt her feelings.
Next time she hands you a coffee, throw it back in her face. By the time the bandages come off, she'll probably want nothing more to do with you anyway.
