Just looked on Billboard.com and seen that Stone Cold Classics has entered the USA top 100 at Number 45 with sales of 27,000 copies and also Greatest Hits has shot up in the Pop Catalogue Chart to number 2, it's highest ever position !!, so come on Guys the American Idol show must have done some good, it's opened up Queen to a whole new fan base.
No argument here, but, at what price? In ten years time do you really think anyone will remember these so-called "idols"?

What will be remembered is Queen's appearance and to those young people their music and influence, hopefully better music will follow but I wouldn't bet on it.

If rock music is to go forward the internet will be where to find cutting edge bands "Artic Monkeys" is a prime example.

Brian's website can be used for such a purpose but that is his decision.

It's an idea that's all.

Yeah, even some of my friends who watched American Idol said the songs were pretty cool. So lighten up, everyone!
I think the tour may have helped too. According to Brian like the europe tour, there was a younger generation coming to the gigs (myself included). I feel sorry for the people who are just getting into Queen cos they will have just missed the oppertunity to see them live!!
yeah i know like totally
Went to get some lyrics from Sing365.com and queen are at No 1.
I love you for your mind baby give me your body.
the way they sung the songs on AI was horrible but i guess people are starting to get into Queen now
