No, but I once met Nelson Mandela.
I met Nelson Mandela, Sam Nujoma and the president of Botswana whose name I can't recall ;-P
I haven't met any of the band before. The closest I came to Brian was touching the glass of the framed Fender Strat he signed on the wall in Captain America's yesterday. My dad said I should ask how much it's worth, come up with the money and make an offer they can't refuse!
i was behind the stage at wembley and met them all.fred turned up in a bus with all his hangers on.

I know there is at least one person here at QZ who has met Freddie, and I mean REALLY met Freddie...

I met Freddie a couple of years ago - there was a film crew there and everything. I said "Hey Freddie! Holy shit, you're not dead!" Freddie said "No, I'm actually Sacha Baron Cohen, and I'm getting ready to do a Borat skit, so if you'll excuse me..." I wasn't buying it, so I kept on at him until he relented and gave me an autograph - it reads "Yo, pisshead. You eva come back 'ere, I is gonna kick ya head in. Keepin' it real - Ali G" I don't know what that means, but I sure was glad I'd finally met Freddie. What a guy!
Thank you, God bless you, sweet dreams you lot of tarts, Good-bye!

I was in my room about to turn on my tv [it was off,OBVIOUSLY] and then I see a little man just walking sort of fast in the center left hand corner of the TV screen. I was kind of...freaked out becuase how in the world could I see a person walking IN my television when its off?

It just kept on walking, it was very small, like a little action figure. It was walking in the same place...legs moving but not going anywhere.

Anyone know the Invisible Man video? Well now I've noticed that the little man I saw in my television was in the EXACT same spot as Freddie in the Invisible Man video, even walking the same way.

I just find that freaky. AND NO I AM NOT PHYCO !
That's the person I want to hear from.
i did only one time...and it was short too....i've seen him live with the band 97 times, and solo in Barcelona, and on Ibiza, the time musical in the dominion, and when he did the Thomas Gottschalk show in Germany with the great pretender....but the approximately 35-45 seconds i really looked person to person in his beautiful deep brown eyes really beat all of the other memories...it was backstage after the 3rd show in Holland in '86, in Leiden..Groenoordhallen, on June 19th. But it will NEVER leave my memory....i felt so privileged at the time. He really wasn't that big, i am a foot taller ! He knew my face from all the shows through the years...and was surprised to see i was so big....but he seemed not impressed or intimidated by my size...for the rest of the tour from that day on, he didn't throw me soaking wet with champagnecoolers full of ice-cubes and cold water or beers as he usually did before...it was different since then....and these days i still miss him....every day....it is such a sad thing never to be able to ever see him alive again, and see the naughty sparkle in those eyes and that ...thát smile in the corners of his mouth everytime he spotted me somewhere in the frontrows....
lifelong loyal and dedicated Queenfan.
