OK, allow me to elaborate.

Which song was it that, once you heard, either changed the way you live, or came the closest to doing so, and why?

For me, it was It's A Beautiful Day. It just perfectly exemplifies Freddie Mercury; that no matter what, somewhere in the world it's a beautiful day, and nothing should ever get you down.

Admittedly, ever since I heard that, it always make me smile when I think about it. I've always been an optimist, but...still, y'know?

It's my little mantra every morning.

i was born to love you
mother love

alot of songs from the made in heaven album, yeah.
Save me. Saved me. :) Changed my life.

But now, I would say (If i had to pick one, 'cause 90% of all queensongs affect my way of living in way or another) IN THE LAP OF THE GODS...REVISITED.
To me, that song tells me to be my self, and not let peoples opinions affect my life, or change the way I am. And that means so much to me, that's pretty much the way I live and act, and I do that because that song tells me so.

Doing Alright

reassures that I'm doin' alright =)
Wear a rubber next time Freddie =(
I guess I'd go with "Some day, One Day" for me. True, it is kind of sad and nostalgic, but it also has an underlying message of hope. The lyrics are just so perfect. It really helped me thru a hard time I had recently.
That time will come, one day you'll see, when we can all be friends...

John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.
The Show Must Go On. It taught me that the show must go on, no matter what. :-)
-Things Have Changed For Me-

Seeing Under Pressure live completely changed the song for me. Every time I hear it now, I'm back in Toronto seeing Q+PR.
whenever i have a bad day, any queen song will do the trick....even their sad songs make u think "hey, freddie (or bri or rog or john) went through the same thing i did, and hes ok...i really can go on!"
"Boredom is the biggest disease in the whole world, darling." Unfortunately, I have it.
there was this one time in which i didnt feel loved anymore and i wanted to kill myself... but i would never do it, because of one thing... i remembered the song Dont Try Suicide and it completely changed my mind... all of Queen's songs taught me to love myself and that life is worth living because you only have one life to live... there is a message in every one of their songs and they all have inspired me... this one saved my life... literally... thank you Freddie...
I guess it's no surprise that Queen has a ton of very emotive songs, and a good chunk of them uplifting.
Spread Your Wings also makes my list of favourites, ditto for Breakthru (still waiting for mine, thanks).
