Okay, I am sure this topis has been mentioned, and I am not trying to make a full blown poll, but what shows of the tour would make a personal top 5 or so(fewer/more, doesn't matter) for the Q+PR tour. It doesn't matter rather you were at the show, saw it on dvd(computer, whatever) or downloaded a freakin flac file or what not.
My list after careful thought out of hearing at least 12 shows full show, and parts of about 25 or so, is:
1. San Diego(was there)
2. Prague(audio only)
3. Sheffield(official dvd/cd release)
4. Birmingham(was there)
5. Tokyo 2nd show(DVD)
Hyde Park and Auburn Hills deserve honorable mention.
brief retrospective:
1. Perfect show just about. Brian rocked, especially the solo, the show really used Paul a lot, but was all well argued as to why. The supporting guys were not only tight and perfect in support, but they even took my notice of them. Great San Diego crowd. For my 3rd show to witness, I could just tell, bias or not, this was the best show for me, and above all reasons why is that their playing as a whole band felt as if they had been together as they were for 20 years. They played not only like seasoned veterans, but like 6 men who musically know one another inside out.
2. Just a great freaking bootleg. Several songs peaked for me in Prague.
3. Official release, I know. But it really came out well, and I find no weaknesses in it.
4. My first Queen concert ever being put aside, this was still a great show. What I remember most about it was how perfect in every way, especially lead vocals and drum solo, Roger Taylor was. RT was easily the MVP/hero of the Birmingham NEC show.
5. Great show, better than the other Japanese show I downloaded, and not because of quality. They gave Japan the best set-list of all(in my opinion) and this was the show that really made good on the individual songs played only in Japan.

I think Sheffield gig is nowhere near top 5... I was there and liked Cardiff much more... Wembley was a GREAT performance, pity the venue was fucked... Hyde Park was far better than any spring 2005 show...
In Japan they were generally better than in Europe... Tighter but also more relaxed... Rotterdam was a good gig, pity the quality of the recording is not so fantastic...

I think the Japanese and American shows were generally better than the European concerts. When I listen to the early shows now, I am amazed how rough and unfinished it sounds compared to the later tour. The band really grew together over the year.
Of course, that does not take away anything from the live experience of the concerts I attended.

I'll put it this way. Paris was light years ahead of Brixton. Hyde Park was light years ahead of Paris. Japan was much better than Hyde Park (and open air gigs), US was... well, I'm not sure if it was better tah Japan- but def as good!

Ok, This is not easy. I am going to do this based on the shows I attended, as that is the only way I can give a balanced standardised view. Watching the DVDs etc is not the same as being there. This is purely my view and I am sure everyone else will disagree but hey that's why this board is great. I reserve the right to change my mind which happens often.
Ok here goes (Best first) :
Hyde Park - Nice change to the indoor shows had a whole different feel to it and the performance was great+Imagine.
San Diego - This performance definately had something. The band were tighter than many of the European Shows. Also the bonus of hearing one of my favourite tracks live for the first time, Dragon Attack. Oh and a new song. Slightly let down, like all the US shows, by the absence of I Want it All, but hey you can't have everything.
Cardiff - One of the best UK shows, small venue which I like and in my hometown.
San Jose,
Anahiem - Difficult to split these both were very good, but no major surprises due to identical setlists as San Diego. If I was to pick one of these as better I would say San Jose but its a close one.
Brixton - Although the overall pefromance was probably the worst of the shows. This has a special place for me for several reasons. It was the first show of Tour. It was the only show I went to where they played Seagull and Little Bit Of Love plus excellent crowd probably responsible for '39 being on the setlist for most of the tour.
Birmingham - Good Performance, some nice new additions to the setlist since the last show I saw, Under Pressure, Another One Bites The Dust and one of the best performances of A Kind of Magic.
Prague - Nice show, but looking back not that memorable in terms of any particular moment standing out.
Wembley - This was the least enjoyable European show for me. First the venue was rubbish. it was an all seated crowd. Apparently it was one of the best performances based on other peoples views which might have been right but due to the issues I mentioned for me the atmosphere was just not the same as other venues.

I'm obviously bias but Lisbon has to be at the top of any list I make. (I'm from Portugal and I was there.
I have downloaded and listened to various shoes now and have to agree that the alter shows soud a lot better (overall performance wise). you can defenatly feel the band is a lot more confidant and interacting a lot more with each other.~

Worcester was better than New Jersey, and by far much better than the show in Long Island.
The MA crowd's energy was mindblowing.

I saw the guys live in Europe 4 times and once again in San Diego. Here's my top 5.
1. San Diego: By far, the most spectacular concert experience for me. I just saw U2 and the Stones live but the energy and thrill of Queen in San Diego was something else. The band was ON FIRE! Some very nice looking girls near the front of the stage made it all even better, hehe :).
2. Prague: Biggest crowd of the gigs I went to. Great ambience. Lots of (older) people rocking away and a good performance by the band, although I was standing a little far from the stage.
3. Vienna: My first Queen+PR concert experience and a very good one. The band really seemed to enjoy themselves although thay made many mistakes while playing. Brian's solo was something else, with the Blue Danube and Last Horizon was pure magic.
4. Leipzig: My last gig in the European leg of the tour. The best thing about it is that I was very close to the stage, but there was this really tall german guy in front of me :S. Brian performed 2 verses of '39 for the first time and I think he nailed the A Kind of Magic solo for the first time in the tour, hehe :).
5. Munich: I was on the benches, on one side of the stage, so I didn't enjoy it that much. I was also recording it (with somebody else's equipment) so I had to be careful and not scream too loud, hehe :).

That being said, for me i felt the Meadowlands NJ gig in September was better crowd-wise. That was a MAJOR event coupled with the fact it was Queen's first US show in 23 years. I think everyone who attended the show that night will know how incredible the electricity was in the auidence. Absolutely amazing and quite moving.
Worcester had the Band in finer form, but when i compare the audiences, NJ 05' wins. I suppose in a way it's not a fair comparison as the NJ gig was filled to the rafters with fans from literally around the country and many visitors from afar. It was attended by those who really wanted to be there, and made sure they were no matter how far they traveled while Worcester was more of a "local" crowd. Regardless, the MA audience rocked as i knew they would. Boston to this day is still THE major Queen City here Stateside...you can't beat it!! :)
