INXS? Boring!
This has what to do with Queen ...?
I hate 'bio pic' films, especially about pop stars, they're usually CRAP and are best suited as TV movies on a weekday afternoon!

Thing is, whether they're shown in theaters or on TV, people will assume it's all fact - even the sensationalized parts added for 'drama'. Can you imagine what they'd do to the boys if a movie were made about Queen? Unless Brian, Roger and John wrote and directed it themselves, I wouldn't want something like that to happen.

As for the original post - Johnny Depp is such a versatile actor. I think he'd be great in just about any part... though I'm not sure I can see him playing a member of Queen.
"The others don't like my interviews. And frankly, I don't care much for theirs." ~ Freddie Mercury
I could see Johnny Depp playing Freddie, magicalfreddiemercury.
He reminds me of Freddie sometimes...and has that little craziness and genius so appropiate for the role of Freddie.

I hope he does a better job than he did with The Libertine...

Lordy it was shite...and he's usually so good.

Not a damn thing.

Yeah that's what I thought. There's a forum for topics that don't have anything to do with Queen, isn't there? Called "Queen - General Discussion"?
I wonder if they'll hire a body double for the "Death scene"!
