I'm assuming here that Brian, Roger and Paul will use Danny Miranda as the bassist on the new album. But who would you prefer? Here's my shortlist:
John Deacon (obviously)
Bruce Foxton (of The Jam)
The Mad Bass Player Out Of The Stranglers (of The Stranglers)
Roddy Murray (of The Dancing Mice)
What does everyone else think?

I have no problem with Danny. He did a superb job on the tour, and is a great fit for the band.
Getting John back would be great.
Danny is good, but I think I prefer Roger...

JOHN JOHN JOHN no ONE CAN REPLACE A queen MEMBER
BUT STILL DANNY IS A GREAT BASSIST

I know this may be a stupid question, but when John "retired", did he also retire from doing any thing else with Bri and Rog. I quess my question is, what is the chance that John could record a album then go back to planting flowers.
John is the first pick, but if you want someone with some creative edge I vote for
TONY LEVIN
CHRIS SQUIRE
PINO PALADINO
The best in the biz!

I agree. I've always loved them, but I was very disappointed when I listened to the album

I think if a guest vocalist is ruled out, Mr Deacon may come back into the fold....

Does anyone think it could be anyone but DM?C'mon let the guys stay in house.Besides they all sound the same
I doubt John will be involved.
Sorry to say it, but i don't see it happening. Now i;m usually the one who says there is always a chance...but not this time.
John will stay away and get on with the life he has now.
