What a interestnig discussion this has turned out to be...

I can't help to think of Sweet Lady as nothing but a filler. That has to be one of Brian's lamest lyrics. Musically it has some good ideas but I don't think the execution is that well. I believe the song is in 3/4 or 6/8 or one of those waltzy time signatures and it's supposed to be something cool, having a rock song with a heavy riff in this time signature but somehow I don't think it comes out very well.

The live version is a bit better but it still lacks something. Not Brian's best by far, not even in that album, not even IN THAT SIDE of the album! haha :)

I think Sweet Lady is amusing if only for one line - "You call me sweet, like I'm some kind of cheese!" - hahahahaha, classic!

But yeah, that would have to be my least favourite track of the album.
