I'm doing a research paper on Live Aid, and I came across this site and I noticed that a majority of these reviews mention Queen and how amazing they were. If your interested take a look: http://www.bbc.co.uk/music/thelive8event/haveyoursay/liveaidmemories.shtml

Thanks for that! ^.^

Queen were the best there, some was good some was dead but Queen was anything BUT dead, they were ALIVE and busting with their amazing hits.
Plain and simple:

Queen's performance at live aid was one of the best totally live, totally vunerable, "don't fuck up the world is watching" performances that has ever been done...anywhere, anytime.

I was 7 years old during Live Aid, I remember going to the local swimming pool the next day, and all the cool high school guys had their white tank tops on, singing Radio Ga Ga into their lotion bottles, and all the high school girls were like "Oh shut up, you aren't Freddie Mercury."

They all stepped up that day....they all rocked under pressure...but that day belonged to Freddie... he was the shining star among 3 other bright ones.

Even fans who don't like Queen have admited to me that they were the best preformers there. Admitedly, I only bought the Live Aid DVD because Queen were on there :D

The energy Queen generated during their performance was electric! Makes you feel proud.

Definatley, you can just feel their energy and Freddie held the audience in the palm of his hand.
