I have seen snipets of news that Roger has been poorly has anyone else any more on this?

Where did you see this? Presumably the same source that gave us @Gren Day singer has cancer", "Free bassist dead of AIDS", etc etc.

Roger's probably well now and back on his feet. I saw him once on the "Rock Honors" show when Queen performed with the Foo Fighters (the band that Roger likes to listen to).
