I'm really shy about sending him e-mails too. I regret sending what I did 'cause they weren't everything I could've made them. I kind of closed my eyes and hit "send" and then went "NO! I didn't really want to send it!! Undo! Undo!" I'm working on a new one... trying to squeeze in everything I want to tell him and make it sound as eloquent and intelligent as possible.

he said that he knew what i tried to say, and he said he was sorry about that situation, that he saw that i was a real fan and a honest one
and then, in another mail, he asked me permission to upload my mail on his soapbox
he`s a very nice guy!!!!

Well it seems that I've done better than some.
I sent Dr May an e-mail last year and got a reply from him within 24 hours.
With that 100% success rate i retired satisfied.

I honestly don't think he reads these boards. How could he really? Some of the rubbish that is posted here ( and on QOL) is simply appalling sometimes when people go off on a badly worded rant. He is smart enough to realize i'm sure that he is better off not wasting his time trodding through. Also, if he did i am certain he would be terribly wounded by some of the words and opinions he would come across on Message forums. Let's fact it, it can get pretty downright ugly in places like this...exspecially a site like this one!
Now i'm not knocking QZ, or other Message Forums....nor the people who post on them ( please don't misunderstand me!) i'm just stating that he has probably been advised to stay away and i have to agree that this is the better idea. As much as we would like to think he would enjoy his time here, you have to consider how delicate a man he is when it comes to harsh critizing.
Hope that made sense to everyone.....

I also check his webby everyday..the only connection i have with him apart from his music..i want to know his views and opinions so i read allllllllllllll of it..inlcuding some of the massively long threads..quite a few of them too!
