would he be still fronting queen? or maybe just live a quiet life? what do u reacon?
Does it matter...?

But since your asking, he would probably still be doing something Queen, but probably mostly quiet. And there wouldnt be any damn Robbie Williams/Crazy Frog/5ive covers of Queen!!! Gah!
No, there would be covers...just...um, not quite to the scale that we have now. I'm sure Fred would still be with Queen, but he'd do the one off solo thing as well I'm sure of it...

I wonder...

DEFFINITLY not to this scale...there might still be a musical though, because I have an (audio) interview of him saying he'd like to do a musical one day...
He'd probably be biting some pillow...
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.
Freddie would still record albums and tour with Queen so that "Made In Heaven" wouldn't have been released. and Paul Rodgers wouldn't tour with Queen. I mean, Rodgers is a great singer, but someone told me that singers tryig to sing lead live for Queen's tour is like trying to fit into someone else's big shoes (correct me if I'm wrong).
His feet were kinda small... Now, Roger, he had big feet! Maybe they've shrunk...
Anyway, it'd be nice to ask Freddie's spirit if he was in fact a fan of Paul's, or if Roger and Brian made that up in order to justify their tour.

I guess we'll never know Sebastian!

As for what he'd be doing if he were alive still... I think he used to shortchange himself on the subject of aging and being unable to do what he did. Singing-wise, he was only getting better with age I reckon. He was slowing down on stage, but he always would have been able to record kick-arse stuff.
Let's see...I believe that if Freddie was still alive, he would most definitely not be doing what he did in the 70's/80's. Obviously, at 59 going on 60, it's unimaginable to think of an older Freddie prancing around, spinning and running across the stage. It's a little far-fetched...

I would hope he would be continuing his solo career, if he were still alive. Mr. Bad Guy and Barcelona had some very good moments, and The Great Pretender (the song) was a welcome change to his otherwise wild style. Not only that, look at solo careers from veteran artists these days.

Paul McCartney - His solo career has been amazing, even after the breakup of the Beatles. Chaos And Creation In The Backyard is probably his best album yet.

Mark Knopfler - The former Dire Straits frontman has been doing great. His latest album, All The Roadrunning (which he recorded with Emmylou Harris) is a good listen in my opinion. Different in sound, but good.

David Gilmour - Former Pink Floyd frontman has been doing very well solo. After breaking from the band, he released a couple of solo albums, and his latest record, On An Island, has been very successful worldwide.

Don't get the wrong idea, though: I'm not saying Freddie would quit Queen and it would be over, no way.
I'm saying he should keep Queen going, but put some more attention on his solo career. Queen has done so much already, so Freddie's solo career could use a good boost.

Been wondering that myself...
