Or you could ask me, since I gave them to him in the first place. Poor Rien, always being bothered by us 'lesser beings'. ;)

It really is a great interview, and long too! It takes up an entire CD! Hell, maybe I'll just rapidshare it...
That would be great. Thanks.

I downloaded it last March, It think - and it took me about 45 minutes per section (on dial-up, that is).

Did Freddie ever do any exercise, apart from the obvious?

He’d really never walk anywhere! We did weights, bench presses… Joe Fannelli made up an old bench in Garden Lodge… which collapsed! (laughs). Arm weights and dumb bells which we’d take from country to country. I suppose it was me that got him started into a keep-fit regime. I used to sod-off to a local gym, and one night he was curious as to what I was doing so I dragged him along. Once he started noticing that it was working, and he was developing muscles, you couldn’t hold him back.

The entire interview is here and very long but not much more about exercise.

Another example of Thor just repeating whatever he read in Phoebe”s book pretending he knew first hand.

Another example of Thor’s bullshittery.

Freddie said in a 1985 interview with Simon Bates that he did indeed work out and that his recent illness had prevented him from working out the way he normally did,

Here’s the thing, If you see Freddie’s pictures in the 70’s, it’s quite obvious Freddie was not naturally muscular. What muscles he developed required weightlifting. Running around stage doesn’t cause arm, shoulder and back muscles to grow,

Don’t listen to this women buy Thor and Lee book if you wish it will have some heart warming stories. You can’t listen to everything you here. What I meant to say I think Freddie may have been busy working and such in Newyork . After hours he probably spent time with his friends . I believe I remember on QZ Thor or Lee one saying he had a set of benches in his apartment. But he didn’t work out or they didn’t see him workout while in Newyork. It’s in one of the threads somewhere. Dearie is a Thor hating TROLL PLEASE don’t listen.

I’m sure Thor thought he was nice looking though Freddie was his type dark hair tawny skin. Peace out

FREDDIE SAID HE WORKED OUT.

Unfortunately for Thor, he didn’t read what FREDDIE SAID about how he DID work out.

Freddie worked out and Thor didn’t know.

Another point of evidence that shows Thor lies, makes declarations about things as if he knows, but turns out he doesn’t really know.

Freddie said he worked out in a recorded interview with Simon Bates.

I suggest people listen TO FREDDIE.

What Thor said contradicts what Freddie said. Thor, therefore is inaccurate unless you want to call Freddie a liar.

Freddie's limo driver got him into lifting weights a little bit....Fred had the same limo driver from like 1979 to 1987??

But yes, workouts were inconsistant...

And this guy has said that Freddie had one body part in mind...his chest.

So to answer the original question...he did.... but it was hit or miss when he would go.... plus he neglected to do anything with his arms....

Freddie's arms were always super scrawny...and if you look at him at Live Aid, you will see that his back, shoulders, and chest are all MUCH BIGGER than his underdeveloped arms.
EXACTLY! (Although I disagree, there is a definite difference in his delts, triceps and biceps from the 70’s.

Yes, his workouts were inconsistent, and likely what he’d do to gear up for tour. And it would take weeks to develop muscles like that..and he toured quite a bit so... he worked consistently enough to make obvious changes to his muscle definition in his back, arms and chest

He had a natural fitness and physicality. It would not have taken a lot of training to add a bit of muscle .
