Ames 16/09/1980 or Kansas City 16/09/1980 ?

Hello,

Most of concertographies I've seen mention Kansas City 16/09/80, and some others mention Ames.

First, according to Official QFC Magazine (biography 80), the Kansas gig was envisaged for 12/09/80, and the Ames gig for 16/09/80.
Second, according to Official QFC Magazine (biography 93), the 12/09/80 doesn't appear at all, and 16/09/80 is now Kansas. I think it's possible that Ames gig was cancelled and Kansas replaced it.

All the concerts lists don't mention 12/09/80, but ONLY 16/09/80 Kansas.
In my opinion, it's more probable that Ames was cancelled and Kansas deferred from 12 to 16 to replace it, than Ames added and Kansas deferred from 16 to 12.

I'm not sure, and I would like your opinions :)
Is there anyone who knows something about the Ames gig please ?

Ames in home of Iowa State University where I went to college way back when. They even gave me a degree! The Queen Ames gig did happen. I remember talking to several people who attended it. Don't know any other specifics.....

So there really was an Ames show...
Does anybody know when exactly ?
