Queen fans complaining about Paul Rodgers doing a solo tour.
He can do whatever he wants. If he decides not to play with Q+PR good for him. If he decides to play with Q+PR again good for him. If he does solo tours with musicians who aren't Brian and Roger(therefore they must be second rate) good for him. If he decides to go busking on Granville Street in Vancouver good for him.
It's his life, his career and his choice.
I'm embarassed to call myself a Queen fan when I see the crap some Queen fans spew.
Thank You- I agree. Long Live Paul!! Long Live Brian!! Long Live Roger.
Just a thought to those complaining- well you could say the same thing about Roger Taylor's and Brian May's solo tours and the "second rate" musicians who played with them and the venues!!! In 1999 Roger Taylor played in dumpy-dirty clubs that held no more than 500-1000 folks--He wanted to be with his fans and we had a great time...I would have much preferred to have seen him in a Casino venue....enough said!!!

paul rodgers played at a casino
umm right
that shows how well hes doing
or well actually he could just be nice and wanna entertain the gamblers
The MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas reportedly had 15000 people on the QPR gig, but - and this IS a question, I'm not affirming:
Isn't it technically a Casino venue? What's wrong with this?
Cheers,

"Take Love" wasn't played? It seems that PR thinks of this songs as a proper(the first) Queen+PR song!!

i love how people are complaining that Paul will do anything for money. Correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't this his career? i wouldn't expect him to be doing it pro-bono. and the fact of the matter is, the tickets really weren't nearly as expensive as Queen + Paul Rodgers. $44 were the most expensive. i would have paid twice as much for the quality shows this man puts on.

Work is work. I admire someone who goes out and earns his living.
I would see Paul anywhere within driving distance. He impressed the hell out of me and I'd be happy to support his solo ventures.

Heavy Load was also in the setlist.
It's also been reported that he is testing the water in rehearsals...trying to fine-tune both Be My Friend and even a few Queen songs...
