25th April "YOUR VOICE WAS OUTSTANDING"
Dear Paul;
I caught the Queen show in Vancouver, BC, Canada on the 13th and wanted to
say 'THANX!!' again. Your voice was astounding and Brian, Roger and the rest
of the band were in excellent form. I was sad to here Brian say that Queen
would be retiring, but I certainly understand the decision. I missed them
the last time they played in Vancouver, 1982, and was determined to see them
this time around. It was worth every penny spent and every mile travelled.
Thanx once more for putting on a great show. Let Brian and Roger know they
will always have a place in my music collection just down the shelf from
you.
Sincerely;
Bruce

First time I hear this.. I think it's bullshit!
Hmmm, certainly looks like it's a busy retirement doesn't it!
Still I guess once you've retired you have more time to record albums and go on tour!

It was probably a comment like: "THis should be our retirement! haha!" or something like that.
Brian said something like this often and it always gets misunderstood

Nah... as a matter of fact they will be touring again in 2007!
Reminds me of Ozzy Osbourne...
After the No More Tears-tour (The No More TOurs-tour in USA...) Ozz retired for a couple of years, to all of the sudden come back with the best name EVER for a come-back tour:
"the Retirement Sucks-tour"! ;-)

Blah, blah, blah. . . Freddie, blah, blah. . . John, blah, blah. . .
Here's some advice - get over it.
Paul is there, as is Danny, and they're not retiring any time soon.

Funny - In the world of Jazz and the Blues, fans rush together to see various artists team up to play great music. No one expects a Hall of Fame musician to retire because his original band has broken up.
You're an idiot. Go play on the Partridge Family website.

Again, since I'm assuming you're not in the band, I figure you have exactly SFA to say about who are, or are not, Queen.
Just remember that "fan" is merely a shortened
form of fanatic.
If Brian & Roger wanted to go onstage with a
spastic poodle with a pink mohawk and leap about
the stage making armpit fart noises whilst calling
themselves Queen, they have every right. It's
their band.
What a pathetic twit.
