I graduated from high school today...

"An instructor once told me that statistics have shown that students who have attended community colleges do better at 4-year colleges than students who go straight to 4-year colleges. The explanation for this is that community college students are much more prepared for what is expected of them than 4-year college students."

Students at a 4 year school typically have other things to worry about than do those at a community college - namely Dorm life and all its "benefits." Unfortunately, not every college student is mature enough to handle college life and I've seen too many students blow through mom's and dad's money trying to be an adult.

Congratulations, Kayla and Alli. I have no idea what AA and community college are but I hope you all have the chance to learn whatever you want. In my country colleges and universities are all public, so we are all equally exposed to overcrowded lectures and classes but I think it's always up to the student to make the most out of the college years. No school can hurt an intelligent person :)
