Interesting, good, talented, and the high level of talent is dominated severely by the massivley higher level of bullshit represented by your Brian May comparison. This guy played around well with a famous song that I can't label nor tell what it is an who wrote it. Brian, among other acheivements took a national anthem(God Save The Queen), and made the perfect recording of it, taking it further than it could have ever gotten.
This guy didn't come near that, so how is he possibly supposed to cover the other 98%(at least) of Brian's musical creative catalogue and achieve a even a representation of the quality level Brian has built on? In otherwords... quit dreaming, quit promoting your friend, or else, you haven't got a clue. Whichever fits.
Brian May, for me, is a guitarist who potentially more talented players have no chance in hell of equaling simply out of the mortality of 99.9% of all guitars, compared to the(to quote Highlander) "There can be only one!" perfection of the Red Special? The answer simplyl... Nobody has a chance!

In reality this guy has nothing to do with Brian May -
HOWEVER, Brian May viewed this video and wrote a stellar little review of it at his site. So if it's good enough for Brian, it should be good enough for his fans; at the very least show a little respect for the guy, anyway. Absolutely no need to get worked up over this.

why were the two posters at the top so scathing. bloody hell, someone hears something they like, and tells other people on a PUBLIC FORUM to go and check it out cos they think they are the new brian may, and they get a bollocking. it not on.
mc7t, i understand your enthusiasm about this boy, he is amazing. although the comparison to brian may is not really justified in my oppinion as their playing styles are too different. this boy is in the school of shred, whereas our brian is more melodic in his feel of the guitar.
and to you Ameriqueen, you stop bloody well dreaming! brian is good yes, we all agree with you. however, because brian arranged god save the queen, it does not make him the best. because he made his own guitar, that does not make him the best at playing the guitar. you are the deluded one.
all mc7t was saying was that this boy was good, and you go and rip him apart, why? becuase you feel you have to jump to the defence of your beloved brian. get a life, there are other guitarists out there which can do things brian can only dream of. this boy is one of them.

To be honest though... in Brian's soapbox, I think he's selling himself short. I reckon he could do the song justice. Sweep picking does not a guitarist make, I would love to hear the Red Special on this song.
