Why would someone trying to sell his book try to alienate his target demographic? That doesn't make sense at all, and I don't think he would. I don't know Greg Brooks and I'm not going to brag over the fact that I speak to John Deacon daily.

I think YV's point is simply that Brian is largely dis-interested in the workings of Internet opinion, not that your opinion is worthless. When people complained back in 2004, it appears that Jen (BM.com's webmaster) was aware of the problem, but that Brian either ignored or condoned GB. [/QUOTE]
I understand this, that's why i said that Brian needs to get involved, the internet is the world now days. YV, i withdraw my comments, i would rather be friends instead of fighting, Friends will be Friends?

Damn. He's good. I stand corrected. But it's more of a crimson.

whats going on?
YoungStratMan, I was not aware that we are fighting. Zeni already helped to clear up a misunderstanding but there is more: I did not want to imply that I am somehow close to QPL, on the contrary, I am just a fan, I do not know anybody in QPL. I only wanted to point out that I met GB in real life where I of course did not introduce myself with my internet nickname and days later he attacked me on QZ, not knowing that he had talked to me. I totally agree with you that posts on the internet make a very strong impresssion, you cannot take back what you wrote on the internet and the Queen Archivist does not make the best impression.
peace :)
peace :)
Who goes around telling everyone they are a federal investigator and talk to Brian May on a daily basis (or whatever he said) and that he has bought $100,000 worth of Queen stuff (you are a freak) and have gone to 107 concerts??? Get a life man!
I dont know if Mr Brooks is still reading this but I'd apologize too.
One reason that Brian does not confront GB, may be because that Brian has also attacked fans:
I recall Brian ripping Michael Allred for created a poll concerning the aspect ratio of Queen videos.
Brian also threatened Dark with litigation for making a midi.
Brian's labelling all fans as parasites.
