Question about The Show Must Go On / Bohemian Rhapsody

People keep saying The Show Must Go On is double a-sided with Bohemian Rhapsody. Cassette wise, isn't it true?

But so is 'I Want It All' and 'Hang On In There', on the cassette. Why doesn't anyone claim those are double A sided?

They were released together - double A - in the USA in 1992 - got to number 4 I think

Any USA fans confirm?

That rings a bell. It certainly wasn't a double A in the UK

Yes, number 2 in the US for several weeks. Sir Mix-a-Lot's Baby Got Back and Ugly Kid Joe's I Hate Everything About You kept it from number 1, if memory serves.

As for the original question, when it comes to a cass-single, isn't it just semantics that determines double A-side from an A/B side? In other words, TSMGO/BoRap was a double A-side because the band wanted it that way, and not because they were both on the same side of the tape like IWIA/Hang? Or am I missing the point of the question?

As far as I know, cassette singles have all tracks on both sides... apart from any mention of being an 'official double A side' or not.

There are only very few exceptions, which actually have the first track on the A-side and the second track on the B-side. (I have only one actually, and it not a Queen cassette single)

It actually seems to me that Queen wanted The Show Must Go On to be the BIG track though, as it's like..

w/Bohemian Rhapsody

.. and The Show Must Go On is also track #1

I can confirm it as well,I got a single copy of that same tape.SMGO on one side,BR on the other.

Yeah, so why does everyone assume Bohemian Rhapsody is the main track?
