"Normally i can't dance to save my life. But as soon as I step in dog shit, I can moonwalk better than Michael Jackson."
One should ANALize the Poetry on page 43, when Oedipus is rollin' in his benzo and he has to bust a cap on some flagrants in the under city http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/image/essay/1

Billy Preston was one of those known as "The Fifth Beatle".
"The others don't like my interviews. And frankly, I don't care much for theirs." ~ Freddie Mercury
When I heard this today I had to listen to Billy performing "My Sweet Lord" at the Concert for George. It never fails to give me the chills it's that good. In my mind's eye I can see that giant smile right now.

Billy was indeed one of those known as "The Fifth Beatle" and he loved that title.

Nothin' from nothin' may mean nothin', but Billy was always somethin'. That's going to be one amazing jam session up there. Rock on and rest in peace dear Billy.

A nice bio of Billy, and a great shot of him from "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" (the film): http://www.entpresents.com/artists.php?id=60
I saved Spike's life in 'Nam.
imagine this picture

Billy on Keyboards
Miles on trumpet
Coltrane on Sax
Bonzo on drums
Cliff on Bass
Hendrix on Guitar

what a jam!
Loser in the end!!!
You know George will be there. John too.
I saved Spike's life in 'Nam.
I'm devastated. Billy was one of the greatest.
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.
Billy was a hero. Appearing on so many of the recordings I love. Keep laying them down on that great gig in the sky! You shine on!
SHIT, I never got to play with him. Aside from the David Letterman band, this was the guy I wanted to play with the most in the world. Fuck.
I am far from familiar with everything in his cataloge, but for those of you who know nothing about him;
One of my favorites is "King Curtis LIVE at fillmore west". Very cool. King Curtis accompanied by King Billy Preston.

Precisely why I wrote what I did. And yes I am a fan of Freddie!!! :P

Not many people know this, but Joe Cocker's hit song 'You're So Beautiful' was written by Billy Preston.

Yesterday on Howard Stern they played some of Billy Preston's most famous songs. He was a brilliant songwriter and performer.

R.I.P. Billy "The 5th Beatle" Preston
