I'm supporting all European teams, but especially Ukraine ('cause I'm on 1/4 Ukrainian...)

come on england!!
Oh yeah. Holland will be next in a half an hour. This is going to be interesting!
Barb- I said I hope it's not going to rain. I was wrong. WE need that bloody rain...! Otherwise- no chance...! Poland was AWFUL- the best player played only last 20 minutes (Jelen), defensive midfielder was playing as right winger- Janas (Polish coach) is mad...
I liked Holland and especially Robben. ASrgentina had a pretty good game although Ivory Coast wasn't bad either. England didn't show anything, but they got three points- I was happy for small Trinidad to hold Sweden :)
Germany scored two beautiful goals but were awful in defence- but in this group it doesn't matter it seems... From group A still anybody can go further- neither team really impressed although if Costa Rica wins agains Ecuador it may get REALLY interesting...

Actually, the Germans were pretty shocked about Poland losing to Ecuador. Everybody thought it's just Germany and Poland and Ecuador and Costa Ricca can be forgotten - a big mistake considering that Ecuador did win against Argentina and Brazil last year. Now we will have a tough match on Wednesday.

cheating, of course

Hey Argentina cheated too in order to win a World Cup.
Anyone remember those 6 goals Quiroga (the Peruvian goalkeeper) allowed to let Argetina advance the 1978 final.

Quite frankly I have no idea what they were playing against Ecuador, they only once in friendly used 1-4-5-1, Zurawski was never a type of 'lone striker, Smolarek had a good game but... no support whatsoever... And if we attack really hard- and German defence will be as bad as against Costa Rica- there is a chance for a good game... Because German counter attacks may be deadly0 Ballack is fine now, isn't he?
Anyway- I support Czechs right now :) And Holland

Poland is in big trouble now, as Germany will be looking forward to secure their pass to the next round on the next game.
Ecuador has it easier, as they will face a Costa Rica with a weak defense, and then play Germany for the last game.

OK, America had no chance against us - not a surprise (3:0). But we lost Koller, our best shooter (~45 goals in 60 matches!). That's really bad for us :-(((
GO ITALY GO!!
:)
playing in 20 minutes... let's hope for the best!

C'mon POLAND!
Nah- even I don't believe in it anymore...
I tell ya, Chechs will go all the way, even without Koller. One condition- Baros will be fit. Rosicky so far the player of the tournament IMO. I know it's early and Brazil haven't played yet, but... they looked incredibly comfortable and confident... Very classy performance...
