I always thought .avi was a pretty standard container...any default player should play it...like Windows Media Player.
I thought those were codecs, in which one would simply download the appropriate codec, which are everywhere.
Yeah anything will play them with the right codec. Vist your players website to see if they have the codec you need or just download VideoLAN and thay can play anything.
