but you have to admit that in his time he was a bad ass goal keeper even if he had a big ass ego. I think his free kicks were better than anyone, beckham or roberto carlos.

He was a superb goalkeeper (perhaps once the best on earth), and a very good at shooting free kicks.
However, he's not nearly as good as Beckham or Roberto Carlos. The way those guys create curved ball effects is amazing.

I didn't like the game at all, although they got their three points witha play like that England has NOTHING to look forward against teams like Czech R., Holland or Brazil... It's easy to do robotics against bloody Jamaica or Hungary... One thing that makes me dislike England is the fact that every time they beat Azarbaijan or other Moldova they already think they are the greatest team in the world... On paper- close to it. On the pitch- haven't seen it yet...
Walcott is a joke- thje whole hype... I know everybody wants anothyer Rooney but please... The two games he came on as substitute he was completely lost... Defoe, even though he had a bad season should be in the team. Remember the goal against Poland early in the qualifiers? I don't think this is something that Walcott could produce...
