Oh, and you should know that the last time I used water-colours was about a year ago (meaning, you're not allowed to make fun of it).

I meant the picture being darker !! I suppose I may have dark humour... I've been told it's dry, but I don't really know what that means... Maybe it's been heavily fermented... Maybe it's champagne ! That would certainly explain a lot...

Do you have PhotoShop - or some graphics programme ? What I usually do is scale the thing I've done down to a "good" size and then I convert the colours to 256 (or for grey-scale, 16) - and save as ".gif". This makes even the file of a very large picture much smaller (and, therefore, more host-able) !
