Hi!
A friend of mine told me today that the name "Queen" has 2 meanigs: powerful and gay. I said maybe, maybe not. He told me that it was obvious and I couln't see it because I'm so fanatic. I told him that he could never know it, because he didn't even met the members of the band. He shouldn't talk about things he doesn't know. Then we begun to shout to each other, but that's not important.
Anyway, IF he's right, that doesn't really matter, right? I have nothing against gays and for me the possible gay meaning of "Queen" it's not a problem.
What do you think?

I think Queen means "regal and majestic"! :D

I certainly wouldn't give a toss because they're such a fantastic band! And I agree, it does mean regal and majestic!
though, as a slang word they use the word 'queen' for a gay man.
