For the most part this isn't Brian's fault, maybe tugging on the tremolo a little to hard, but his string breaks multiple times. I would shit his pants if I were in his position

Strings break. Sh!t happens. Brian handled it fine. He got his backup and continued on. The consumate pro.
I know strings break, but when it happens twice in front of thousands of people, thats when it sucks. You're right though, I don't see how else you could handle that in that situation.
brian are realy the BEST.
Don't worry, Bri, WE STILL LOVE YOU ANYWAY!!!
this video really shows you how proffesional Brian is in those situations! Good job Brian!
I'm sure that if it wasn't the Red Special, he would have summarily thrown the damn thing on the ground, and started over.
Do you ever wonder how much Brian has his guitar insured for???
Is it insurable (is that a word??)

It's because of the freaking dime (sixpence)he uses for a pick. He's a monster....but Ive often wondered about the metal pick thing. Its a bad idea for a lot of reasons....but the biggest is the string breakage....its not worth the trouble.
Brians guitar is uninsurable. It is priceless. This was told to me by his assistant who handles the Red Special just before the show in NY/NJ
Nevertheless the Red Special IS insured. Of that you can be sure.
