My favorite is from "Innuendo" :

---
You can be anything you want to be
Just turn yourself into anything you think that you could
ever be
Be free with your tempo be free be free
Surrender your ego be free be free to yourself
---

What a beautiful and emancipating lyric that makes you realize how much everyone suffers from the same inhibitions and how music can make you realize life's truths.

There are many Queen lyrics that I love, what are yours?

Does anyone know who wrote Innuendo anyway? Do you think that lyric is Freddie's or Roger's?

I believe the entire middle paret or bridge or whatever you wanna call it, was Freddie.

Hahahaha, LOADS people LOADS!

Bohemian Rhapsody tops it all for me! Not really emoutionally it's just a complicated, funny song to sing along too. Emoutinally would be something like Show Must Go On, These Are The Days, Love Of My Life, It's A Hard Life ect ect... =)

Every sing lyric in The Show Must Go On

and I love this part in Teo Torriate:

Hear my song
Still think of me the way you've come to think of me
The nights grow long
But dreams live on
Just close your pretty eyes and you can be with me...
Dream on

Don´t try so hard!

When your trouble seems like mountains
feel the need to find some answers
You can leave for another day
Don´t try so hard

Ack.

Well, off the top of my head, I like:

I'm Going Slightly Mad. All of it.(Brilliant!)

My Melancholy Blues. All of it. (It's very tongue-in-cheek, I believe, and I love it).

Let Me Entertain You cracks me up, too.

I'll have to think on this some more to come up with the more *lovely* lyrics.

Most of Brian's songs have great lyrics (Sweet Lady is a blatant exception). I personally like the lyrics to "Long Away" very much.

"You might believe in heaven
I would not care to say
for every star in heaven
there's a sad soul here today.

Take heart, my friend, we love you
though it seems like you're alone
a million lights above you
smile down before your home.

Hurry put your troubles in a suitcase
come let the new child play
lonely as a whisper on a star chase
I'm leaving here, I'm Long Away..."

Classic!
