[QUOTENAME]Bobby_brown wrote: [/QUOTENAME]So, was Freddie´s voice pitched up or not?

Take care
yeah, slightly. Slightly in the truest sense of the word. I don't think the backing track was just pitched and Freddie sung over that, I'm pretty sure the whole thing was slightly pitched half a semi
Another interesting fact: the remix it's in mono.
Wilki We must all HEAR to believe
Brian said that what Freddie sang is on the record.
"On the first day Pim & Niek created a heavenly occupation. Pim & Niek blessed it and named it 'Loosch'." (Genesis 1:1)
I find it amusing that many online discographies omit the Wyclef/Dust singles.

It's as if people think, "If we stop acknowledging its existance maybe it'll never have happened!"

Sorry, folks. They remixed it, added some rap to it, remixed it a few more times, released a couple a singles and now everyone of us has to live with the fact that it's out there.

Please, with everything that's wrong with the world, and all the drama in life, I can't bring myself to be bothered not liking this version. Seriously, if you going to hate something, let it be something worth while, like censorship, oppression, Disney, wife-beating, George "Dubya" Bush Jr., take your pick.

I'm going to listen to the Team One Black Rock Star Main Pass Mix again...

Because I can.

Peace out, yo.
[QUOTENAME]kdj2hot wrote: [/QUOTENAME]It's funny that a random wax figure with a moustache and Freddie jacket makes an instant Freddie even though it looks nothing like them. It must've taken them all of two seonds to put that "wax figure" of Freddie together.
Yeap, but actually this generic wax figure looks more like Freddie than Freddie's statue en Montreux and the one on top of Dominion Theater, haha :). By far. Those two don't look like Freddie at all.

I knew the vocals sounded different in this track but hadn't noticed the pitch change. It had been about 6 years without listening to the song, btw, eventhough I've got two singles with that song in them. So this is how it was actually recorded. Freddie's vocals still sound great, though.

Nah your idea is bunk. If we stop hating certain things because there's worse things in the world, we numb ourselves to the idea that our lives are becoming more and more mediocre, simply because we're too complacent to DO anything about it.

Your idea is terrible. You should be taking a stand with the things that piss you off, however trivial, because if you live a life of compromise as you suggest, and ONLY act up when it's a matter of global security, then you're just bending over to God, Fate, and Father Time and saying 'give it to me bad boy'.
I hate it when 'modern artists' go and screw up a classic song like that!
Either that or some idiots find a fab song and totally transform it into some AWFUL dance mix, incessantly played on the radio until your ears bleed!

....anyway, moving on... its dreadful. I've never listened to it all the way through. Not once!
First time i heard it i skipped to the next song about 10 seconds in.
Only Freddies vocals would make it bearable to listen to!
"It’s not often we play in daylight, and I fucking well wish we did before, I can see you all now. And there are some beauties here tonight, I can tell you!" ;)
well some people hate it and some like it like all artists music....

Yeah. But this thing is shit.

I don't like this kind of music, so I'm not one to comment, but usually I appreciate it when the rhyme is creative or funny, or if perhaps they put a funny rhythm to it. But this guy is *worse than Average Homeboy*.

I wish this shit had never been released.
The idea of the video is interesting, but still...
