Who is Betty Boop????

Where have you been the past 80 years??
"On the first day Pim & Niek created a heavenly occupation. Pim & Niek blessed it and named it 'Loosch'." (Genesis 1:1)
I had already heard about her, but I did't know who she was. And she's not very famous here in Portugal.
Betty Boop is a famous black and white cartoon from de depression era United States. Her most famous catchphrase is "Boop-Oop-A-Doop" said in a high pitch voice. She is also credited as being the first cartoon "sex symbol", this fact is made fun of in the film "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" as Jessica Rabbit (a younger 'toon) has replaced her as the reigning Toon Town sex symbol and lampooned in the cartoon "Drawn Together" where the character Toot bares a similar resemblance to Betty but has become fat and ugly due to old age. She is still very popular today and has since been drawn in color (as you can clearly see in Freddie's shirt).

Thank you!! : D
My Grandmom used to draw kick-ass Betty Boop stuff. I'd get birthday cards with killer drawings all over them. I wish I had some of her work to show you guys...
