People try and tell me there's Queen fans in Perth, I refuse to believe it.

There's low-brow knuckledraggers who are into shitty death metal or tinned-music like Jet or Wolfmother, or there's these sociopathic university students who'll only listen to music if :

a). The music is independent.
b). The singer can't sing.
c). At least some of the backing is positively atonal.

My girlfriend doesn't like Queen. Or rather, she doens't feel very strongly about it, mostly because I like it. I have caught her singing A Kind of Magic, though...haha... :P

In revenge, I've declared Michael Hutchence (with whom she is besmitten with) as my arch-nemesis.

Other than that, she generally listens to good music. Nirvana, Rolling Stones, SOAD, My Chemical Romance, Guns and Roses, etc etc.
